The target users are students at Columbia International College who are interested in learning more about and joining Robotics Team 9062. Most students prefer using mobile devices since they provide quicker and easier access to the website.
The website should include basic static information such as team details, members, competitions, sponsors, contact information, and a community page. Images of team members will be displayed on the main index page to make information more engaging.
The design should look professional, clean, and visually organized. Important titles and subheaders should appear near the top of the page so users can access information easily without excessive scrolling.
The layout should adjust based on screen size. When the screen width is under 768px, subheaders should change layout, and when under 480px, a mobile menu should appear containing all navigation options.
The team communicates with the client every Monday to ensure all information follows the correct guidelines. The client also provides updated images, including past team members, robots, and design blueprints created using Onshape.
The website will include interactive elements such as upcoming event schedules, including competition dates and match times. This allows students to easily track robotics events and participation opportunities.
